Technical sales engineer
What are you going to do?
As a technical commercial engineer, you are an important link between the customer and the entire internal and external sales department.
You have daily contact with customers and ensure that the order process runs smoothly. And you convert ideas, wishes and requirements of the customer into correct proposal and solutions.
In this complex and challenging role you coordinate front office communication, process orders, prepare quotations and you are involved in calculations.
Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the customer base is further expanded and that existing and new customers receive the excellent service they are used to.
In a team, you contribute to the sales process and relationship management together with your colleagues in the office and field.

Most important tasks
You're responsible for;
• optimal commercial handling of the internal sales and order processes (such as requests, quotations and orders)
• advising customers about our products and possibilities and making quotations
• answering various (technical) questions from customers about prices, delivery times, orders
• you report to the Sales Manager
Who are you?
You are full of energy, perseverance and enthusiasm. You are a strong communicator and representative. Your enthusiasm is contagious and you always strive for an optimal customer experience.
Specifically, you bring the following;
• MBO / HBO work and thinking level
• (technical) knowledge and experience in the industry is a plus
• being able to read technical and construction drawings
• You master the Dutch language. English and German language is a plus
• good knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook
• experience with ERP like Isah and Salesforce is a plus
• you are very customer-oriented and willing to help
• you have an affinity with technology, and you know how to combine it flawlessly with your commercial talent
