Where possible, Aviko supports initiatives that contribute to food safety in the food industry. As part of a production expansion, Van Lente System Integration B.V. installed at Aviko some Gouda Holland, part of the NIEDAX GROUP, Streamline HD cable ladders.
This resulted in lower costs and time savings for Aviko and optimal food safety for the consumer.
Mark Wesselink, lead fitter at Van Lente:
"The absence of cable ties makes it easy to quickly add extra cables."
"All in all, installing the cables with this HD product takes three times less time than with conventional solutions. It makes a huge difference that you don't have to work with cable ties."
Gerwin Schuurman, Project Engineer at Aviko:
"The cable ladder with cables for the control of the production lines have always been a point of concern. We use open cable management systems that are easy to clean. Only the cable ties that keep the cables in place still formed a risk factor for optimal hygiene We wanted to get rid of that.”
In order to be able to continue to meet the increasingly strict requirements of customers in the future, Aviko will continue to stimulate new improvement options for making production processes more sustainable and safer. Gerben Schuurman:
“Van Lente helps us with this by pointing out new developments and bundling these in the form of total solutions. We like the Niedax solution because it offers more hygiene safety and saves costs and time. For the next expansion, we will opt for the hygienically sound Streamline HD cable routing.”
